Q & A Beyond Organics

Q. Do you use fillers, binders or other ingredients?
A. Our products do not contain any fillers, binders or other additives, such as carriers. Fillers are used in most products, because synthetic vitamins, for example, are purified white powders and a small amount is a relative high dose. Actual vitamin components of most capsules and tablets don’t take up a lot of room, so fillers such as microcrystalline cellulose or maltodextrine are used to “fill” the remaining space in the capsule. We formulate the products so that every microgram is carefully planned. In this way, Beyond Organics Inc. products are higher in nutritive quality.
Q. Are the products ok for vegetarians or vegans?
A. Yes. Including the capsule, which is a vegetable capsule.
Q. Are the products safe for children?
A. With all nutritional supplements you should consult with your health care professional before administering to children. Generally, small children can take one capsule per day.
Q. Doesn’t the heat of manufacturing affect the quality of the product?
A. In making our product, the speed of the machinery is much slower than with most other capsule and tablet manufacturing. This is because we do not use any nasty lubricants like magnesium stearate in the manufacturing process. The result is that the temperature stays around room temperature (around 70 degrees) maintaining the nutritional integrity of the food ingredients.
Q. What if I can’t swallow pills?
A. If you have difficulties swallowing pills, open the capsule and sprinkle the food powder into a smoothie or apple sauce. This is a popular way for parents to administer Beyond Organics Inc. supplements to children too.
Q. Does it contain soy?
A. The product does not contain soy allergens.
Q. Do the supplements have to be taken with food?
A. No. The supplements do not have to be taken with food. They are very gentle on the stomach, because they are food.
Q. Is the ingredient of brewer’s yeast the same as nutritional yeast?
A. There is a big difference between nutritional yeast and brewers yeast. Nutritional yeast, in short, has been fed isolated synthetic vitamins and called “whole-food.” Brewer’s yeast on the other had has been a natural source of the B Complex for thousands of years.
Q. Where is the produce in the products grown?
A. All of our produce comes from USDA Certified Organic Farms in North, Central and South America.
Q. Why is the dosage levels in Beyond Organics Inc. products lower than what I am used to seeing?
A. Our products contain dosage levels much closer to what naturally occurs in food than conventional vitamin supplements do. Mother Nature knows best. Because you are also getting the naturally-occurring phytonutrients in our product, it’s up to her to give you what you need to help stay healthy.
